A course designed to improve proficiency in written and oral Italian through advanced conversation, grammar, and composition. The contemporary culture of Italy and the Italian-speaking countries is studied via materials selected from the media as well as from the cultural readings. Italian literature is approached through the study of representative excerpts from the works of major Italian authors. Prerequisite: ITA 202 or equivalent
