CERTIFICATE IN HUMAN SERVICES

Purpose:

The Certificate in Human Services is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level human services careers in a variety of community settings. The certificate provides sufficient flexibility to meet the needs of beginning students as well as those working in the human services field.

Program Objectives:

The graduate should be able to:
--demonstrate the skills necessary to obtain entry-level
employment in a human services agency.
--demonstrate he requisite skills and knowledge to continue
the educational sequence toward an Associates Degree in
Human Services.
--demonstrate the skills and knowledge necessary to advance
in their careers.

All courses apply to the Human Services A.A.S. degree.
