HUMAN SERVICES / GERONTOLOGY OPTION (A.A.S.)

Purpose:

The Human Services - Gerontology option is designed to prepare
graduates for careers as human service workers in the programs
for the aging; retirement communities; and other programs,
facilities and agencies which deal with the mature adult.

Program Objectives:

These are the same or similar to the Human Services program
except that emphasis is placed on the aging process, the older
adult and associated problems and services.
