Computer Science (A.S.)
Purpose
The Computer Science program is designed primarily for those students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university and major in computer science.
Program Objectives
A graduate should be able to:
- enter into the third year of a baccalaureate program in computer science with little or no loss of credits.
- demonstrate the basic knowledge and skills needed to continue the educational process toward more advanced computer science training leading toward career advancement.
- secure an entry level position in computer science if transfer does not occur immediately upon graduation.
