About Course Fees and Discounts

The cost indicated in the course listing is the total program price, unless otherwise indicated.

Your full payment is required in order for you to be confirmed as registered in a course, unless Direct Employer Payment has been confirmed by a company official.

WD&CE is a partner in WHYY's Member Card program and offers a ten per cent (10%) discount on specific personal enrichment non-credit programs. To receive this discount, be sure to include your Member Card Partner number and expiration date on your registration form. (Note: Municipal Police Act 120, EMT/Paramedic, Computer, and Certificate courses and programs are not included.)

Your Course Confirmation

Verification of your course registration will be mailed to you if you register by mail, fax, phone, or in-person. If you register online, you will receive an email to confirm your registration.

Your Classroom Location

Your course confirmation may list your classroom if it has been assigned on the date you register. If “TBD” (to be determined) is indicated, the classroom assignment has not yet been made.

Recorded telephone information on your classroom assignment will be available several days before your course starting date. Call 215-641-6462 for this information.

Course Cancellation

Classes are subject to minimum enrollments. Your course may not run if it has an insufficient number of students registered. If a course is canceled by the College because of low enrollment, notification by telephone will be made if a daytime telephone number has been provided.

In cases of last-minute instructor cancellation of individual class sessions, every attempt will be made to reach you by phone, and a sign will be posted outside the classroom.

Inclement Weather Closing

Class cancellation due to inclement weather will be announced on local radio and TV stations by the following code numbers.

Day Class Cancellation - Central 320 - West 395
Evening (after 4:00 p.m.) and Weekend Cancellation - Central 2320 - West 2395

  • Check KYW Newsradio 1060's School Closing section on their web site
  • Listen to KYW 1060 AM, WNPV 1440 AM or WPAZ 1370 AM on the radio

Course participants will be notified of make-up class dates.

Refund Policy

In the event a course is cancelled by the College (usually because of low enrollment), every attempt will be made to enroll you in another course or a full refund of your tuition will be issued.

If you wish to withdraw from a course, you may transfer to another non-credit course or you can request a refund of your course tuition. Your request must be received by phone or in person at our offices prior to the start of class. Course transfers and refunds will not be made after the start of a class. To withdraw from a class at the Central Campus, call 215-641-6397 and press 2 or visit the Continuing Education offices in Parkhouse Hall, Room 140, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Fees for materials, books and supplies are not refundable.

Parking Information

Central Campus:

If you register for classes online, the course confirmation that you receive by email will serve as your parking pass. Please place it printed side out on your dashboard and park in the designated student parking areas.

If you register by mail, fax, phone, or in-person, you will receive a Temporary Parking pass in the mail that is valid for non-credit classes during the period for which you have registered. Place the pass on the dashboard of your car and park in the designated student parking areas.

Student parking is permitted in any lot (Lot #1 adjacent to Morris Road, Lot #2 adjacent to Cathcart Road, and Lot #3 adjacent to Rt. 202). Parking is not permitted in gated lots reserved for Faculty, Staff, and Visitors, or in any space with signs prohibiting non-handicapped or restricted use. All legal spots are marked with white lines perpendicular to concrete curbing. Parallel parking is not permitted. Parking at the ends of parking lanes or on the grass anywhere on campus is prohibited.

Pottstown Campus:

All vehicles on campus must be registered with the college. Parking permits may be obtained from the Public Safety Office in Room 129 at 101 College Drive, South Hall. The completed Parking Decal Application must be presented with the vehicle’s owner registration card. Decals must be in plain view.. Parking decal permits are valid at both of the College’s campuses. Student parking is permitted in the general parking areas of 101 College Drive’s, South Hall, East, West and South lot’s, at 140 College Drive, located across the street of the College Drive location, and at 16 High Street, North Hall. Also, 3 hour parking is available along High Street and free parking in the Carousel parking lot located on West High Street, a short distance from the 16 High Street building. All lots can be accessed from either campus via the pedestrian underpass. Student parking is not permitted in gated lots, designated visitor spaces, or in any space designated for disabled parking or restricted use without appropriate authorization. All approved parking spaces are marked with white lines perpendicular to concrete curbing. Parallel parking is not permitted. Parking at the ends of parking lanes or on the grass anywhere on campus is prohibited.
