Health Care - Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program at Montgomery County Community College’s West Campus in Pottstown is designed to help students learn the basics of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in preparation for advanced level certification. This program covers the theory of physics, procedures, and safety issues and discusses what is required for ARRT clinical requirements. Magnetic Resonance Imaging graduates will become valuable members of the health care delivery team.
The student will receive a certificate of completion from the college upon completion of both courses in this program.
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program is a one-semester program (15 weeks). Students are required to successfully complete all of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) competency requirements in order to be eligible to take the MRI Certification exam administered by the ARRT. Students must be ARRT registered or registry eligible. Proof must be submitted with application.
Starting Dates
Classes for the spring semester will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-9:30 p.m. at the West Campus in Pottstown, Room 118. Classes begin on Thursday, February 7, 2008 and end on Tuesday, May 27, 2008.
