Food Science Programs
We offer participants the opportunity to acquire or maintain their certification for safe food handling in Montgomery County. Designed for general food handling, these programs help new food industry workers obtain the requisite license to be a safe food handler and are designed for currently licensed handlers to renew their licenses as required by the county on a periodic schedule. All courses and curriculum are approved by the Montgomery County Health Department. !
These programs include:
- ServSafe® Initial Certification (classroom)
- ServSafe® Recertification (classroom)
- ServSafe® One-Day Initial Certification (includes 8 hours classroom + 8 hours independent study)
- ServSafe® Re-testing (classroom)
- ServSafe® Online (requires access to the Internet)
