Public Services - Fire Science
Montgomery County Community College in cooperation with the Montgomery County Fire Academy (MCFA) is pleased to offer various non-credit courses, some leading to certification, in Fire Science and Emergency Services.
The College also offers credit programs in Fire Science leading to an Associate Degree (AAS).
FIRE SCIENCE NON-CREDIT PROGRAMS
Approximately fifty (50) courses are offered yearly covering introductory and advanced fire fighting; emergency response; hazardous materials; emergency vehicle operations (EVOC) and first aid. Courses vary in duration from two hours to approximately ninety hours.
Most courses are held at the Montgomery County Fire Academy located at 1175 Conshohocken Road, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Call 610-278-3500 for directions. Fire Science training is also held at off-site facilities.
