Faculty Development and Assessment
Faculty Development and Assessment incorporates three specialized areas that have been designed to support faculty in many of the roles they serve throughout their professional careers.
- The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) provides a forum for full and part-time faculty to discuss, debate and study the scholarship of teaching and learning with the goal of enhancing student and faculty success.
- Career Development initiatives support faculty as they begin their careers at the College through various orientation and mentoring activities. In addition, workshops and individual counseling offers direction on successful promotion and sabbatical applications.
- Faculty Assessment activities round out faculty development by providing faculty with opportunities to be active participants in the College’s assessment initiatives.
