Assessment Committee

The Assessment Committee is a sub-committee of the All-College Curriculum Committee. Committee membership includes one faculty from each division, one faculty from the Pottstown campus, one 12-month faculty, an academic administrator, and a student affairs administrator. The Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs co-chairs the Committee with an elected faculty co-chair. Each member of the Committee serves as a liaison to his or her division or to the Pottstown campus.

The overall responsibility of the Assessment Committee is to monitor and update the College’s Academic Outcomes Assessment Plan and to ensure that the College successfully fulfills the recommendations and suggestions made in the 2005 Middle States Self Study with regard to assessment. • Monitor the results of program assessment plans.
  • Develop and monitor an assessment plan for the core curriculum.
  • Support the development of a culture of assessment within one’s division and across divisions.
