Question
First, does the chapter provide questions at either the beginning or the end?
Second, turn each major heading or subheading into a question using "who, what, why, how, or where" questions
Third, ask "What is the author's message or main point? Why is this section important?"
- Finally, ask "What might be asked on the exam?"
There are four ways in which you might arrive at questions.
When reading an article or material without headings, turn the title into a question. Then read the first and last paragraphs and the first and last sentences of all the remaining paragraphs and develop questions based on this material.
