Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching
The Lindback Foundation has again made it possible for MCCC to honor one of its full time faculty members as a recipient of the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching. You are invited to participate in the nomination process for this special award.
The Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching recognizes academic excellence and outstanding teaching. Persons nominated should demonstrate a commitment to the life of the mind and the well being of students. Their approach to teaching should be intellectually stimulating, challenging and accessible. Their efforts should extend beyond the classroom.
You may submit the name of any full time faculty member who fulfills the criteria. To be valid, all nomination forms must be signed. However, to maintain confidentiality the signature portion of the nomination form will be removed before the forms are given to the Lindback Review Committee.
The Lindback Award recipient will be announced and the award presented at the Commencement ceremony. Each year’s winner will be asked to present the Lindback lecture during the following academic year.
