Kelli taught part time for Montgomery County Community College as well as Gwynedd Mercy College and Chestnut Hill College for 5 years prior to teaching full time for Montgomery County Community College beginning in Spring 2007.

In addition to his higher education administrative roles primarily at the Dean's level, Peter also taught astronomy at colleges for over 30 years, both as part and full-time faculty at various 2 and 4 year colleges in the Delaware Valley.
