Weekend College Accelerated Degree Programs
The Associate Degree in Business Administration (A.S.), General Studies (A.G.S.), and Liberal Studies (A.S.) is designed for students who wish to continue their education and transfer to a Bachelor Degree program and major in an area of business.
The Accelerated Degree program allows for the graduates to continue onto a four-year degree. Classes are offered on a five rotations continuous basis; therefore, students have the flexibility to step in and out of the program as necessary and resume classes upon their return.
All classes are offered over the weekend, Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. Sunday afternoon classes are e-learning not classroom. A student may take one to three courses per accelerated rotation. The accelerated rotation is ten weeks in duration with a one week break between rotations.
The degrees are awarded after students complete 60-63 semester credits (Liberal and General Studies majors only need 60 credits). This total number of credits may be all MCCC credits or a combination of transfer credits and MCCC credits.
Students who have transferred to MCCC with credit from another institution must complete at least 30 of the 60-63 semester hours of credit at MCCC.
