On-Site Degree Programs
In an effort to carry out the College's mission of meeting the educational needs of the community, Montgomery County Community College is offering accelerated courses at the Willow Grove Naval Air Station, applicable to either the Associate in General Studies Degree or the Associate in Science in Liberal Studies Degree.
Classes have been conveniently scheduled to meet two evenings per week from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. so as to accommodate the busy schedules of working adults. Most courses may be completed within a six week time period. The program incorporates a blend of traditional lecture style courses and video based instruction.
Credit for prior learning may be granted from regionally accredited colleges and universities, national testing program examinations such as AP, CLEP, DANTES and Excelsior College as well as credit for life experience and military education, training or experience.
Advisors from Montgomery County Community College will be available on the base every Wednesday to advise, and register students as well as to perform transcript evaluations.
