Michael J. D’Aniello, Esq.
Chairman
Michael J. D’Aniello, Esq. was appointed to the College’s Board of Trustees in 2001, and he served as the Board’s treasurer from 2004-2010. A graduate of Montgomery County Community College, he was inducted into the College’s prestigious Alumni Hall of Fame in 2003 for his outstanding service to the community. Also a graduate of Villanova University and Delaware Law School, Mr. D’Aniello has been in private practice since 1983 and is admitted to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Royal Order of Barristers and the Phi Kappa Phi Legal Honors Society. He is actively involved in his local parish, Visitation BVM, Catholic Youth Organization.
Andrew B. Cantor
Vice Chairman
Andrew B. Cantor served as secretary of the College’s Board of Trustees from 2003-2010. He has practiced law for more than 30 years, with extensive experience in bank representation, mortgage foreclosures, domestic relations, civil trials and municipal solicitorships. He is currently of counsel with Wisler, Pearlstein LLP, and was previously a partner. Mr. Cantor is active with a variety of organizations as a member of the Board of Trustees for Montgomery Hospital and for the New Regional Medical Center. He previously served as the president of the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers Association, and the Board of Trustees for the Hedwig House, Inc. Cantor holds a B.A. from Trinity College and an L.L.B. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Regina M. Lowrie
Treasurer
Regina M. Lowrie joined the Board of Trustees in 2009, and she has been a member of the College’s Foundation Board of Directors since 2003, serving as chairperson of the Courage to Create Capital Campaign in support of the Fine Arts Center. She is the president and CEO of Vision Mortgage Capital, a Division of Continental Bank. Ms. Lowrie has more than 30 years of mortgage banking and real estate finance experience. She served as the chairman of the national Mortgage Bankers Association in 2006—the first woman to do so in the organization’s 94-year history. Ms. Lowrie currently serves as chairman of MBA Executive Reverse Mortgage Lending Task Force and as a member of the Gwynedd Mercy College Board of Trustees and the Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Delaware Valley Board of Directors.
Gertrude K. Mann
Secretary
Gertrude K. Mann served as assistant secretary of the College’s Board of Trustees from 2002-2010. She also chairs the Foundation’s annual Scholarship Scramble golf event, which benefits student scholarships at the College. Ms. Mann has held the positions of chairperson of the Board and human resources representative for PM Fasteners, Inc. She is a member of the Ambler Kiwanis Club and is active in politics. She holds a B.S. from Penn State University.
Michael J. Paston
Assistant Secretary
Michael J. Paston is employed by 501 Group, Fort Washington, Pa., assisting Pennsylvania school districts with referendum planning. He sits on the Board of School Directors for the Upper Dublin School District and has served as the Board’s president since 2006. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania School Boards (PSBA)Association, representing Bucks and Montgomery counties. In October 2010, he was designated as a Master Board Member by PSBA, becoming one of only 18 in Pennsylvania. Professionally, Mr. Paston previously owned a small printing business and worked as an attorney and a tax accountant. He is also involved in youth sports, coaching teams and managing leagues.
Susan D. Arnhold
Trustee
Susan D. Arnhold has served as a member of Board of School Directors for the Abington School District since 2006. Prior to becoming a board member, she served as a parent representative to the school district’s Strategic Planning and Opportunities to Learn steering committees and as the district’s representative to the Governor’s Institute for Parental Involvement. She also served as president of Overlook Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Organization from 2003-2005. Ms. Arnhold is currently the president of the Cheltenham Center for the Arts Clay Guild, and she is a parenting educator at the Center for Parenting Education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University.
Cheryl Lynne Austin, Esq.

Cheryl Lynne Austin, Esq. practices Elder Law as a private practitioner in Willow Grove, Pa. She previously held the position of Assistant District Attorney for Montgomery County, where she served as a county-wide criminal prosecutor. She is a retired Captain of the U.S. Navy Reserve and she is an adjunct professor to doctoral candidates at the Palmer Theological Seminary. Ms. Austin holds an A.S. in Computer Systems from the University of Cincinnati, a B.S. in Speech from Northwestern University and a J.S. from Capital University Law School. She is the former chair of the Diversity Committee of the Montgomery Bar Association, is a co-chair of the Military and Veterans Affairs Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and is a member of the Willow Grove Chapter of the Military Officers Association of American.
Lea S. Bramnick
Trustee
Lea S. Bramnick recently retired as the executive director for the Macula Vision Research Foundation in Conshohocken. Along with 30 years of administration and management experience, she has authored several books focused on children and children’s cookery. Ms. Bramnick serves on the Board of Directors for the Jeffrey Berger Research Scholarship Fund of the Scheie Eye Institute, and she is the associate chairman for the Philadelphia Antiques Show. She is a volunteer for the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia and for the New Choices/New Options and KEYS programs at the College. She holds a M.Ed. from Temple University, a certification in Fundraising from the University of Pennsylvania, and has formal training in public relations.
Geoffrey D. Brandon
Trustee
Geoffrey D. Brandon has more than 23 years of experience in the financial services industry. He currently serves as a regional vice president with TD Bank. Among his many professional and volunteer affiliations, Mr. Brandon is a member of the Montgomery Bar Association Community Outreach Committee, a President’s Council member for Gwynedd Mercy College, an Advisory Board member for the Montgomery County Coaches Hall of Fame, and a coach with the Lower Perkiomen Little League. He is currently the chairman of the Montgomery County Community College Foundation’s Board of Directors, serving as a member of the Board for nine years. Mr. Brandon holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University.
Marcel L. Groen
Trustee
Marcel L. Groen is a partner with Fox Rothschild, LLP and was a former partner and founder of Groen Laveson, Goldberg and Rubenstone, LLC. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Bucks County Bar Associations as well as counsel for Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. Among his numerous community affiliations, Mr. Groen has served as former chairman and founder of the Bucks County International Trade Council, member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Appellate Rules Committee, former counsel for Lower Bucks Chamber of Commerce, and chairman of the Montgomery County Democratic Committee. He holds a J.D. from Temple University School of Law.
Eric S. Kretschman

Eric S. Kretschman is the chairman and president of Wexford Property Management Arnick Equities, LLC, an asset management and advisory firm specializing in the multi-family real estate sector. From 2004-2008, he served as the elected controller of Montgomery County, supervising all of the county’s fiscal affairs as well as the accounts of all departments collecting, receiving or dispersing county funds. Previously, he was the vice president and founding partner of Investment Property Advisors, Inc., and he served as the elected commissioner of Abington Township from1993-2004. Mr. Kretschman holds a B.S. in History and Science from Drexel University.
Lynne Lechter, Esq.
Trustee
Lynne Lechter is vice president and general counsel for Lefa, Inc. in King of Prussia, and she is an active member of the legal field through professional organizations, publications and volunteer work. Along with her legal career, she has served as an entrepreneur, teacher, author and active member of the community. Ms. Lechter holds a B.S. in Behavioral Sciences and Elementary Education from Russell Sage College, an M.S. from the University of Pittsburgh a J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law. She previously served on the Montgomery County Community College’s Board of Trustees from 2003-2007.
Richard Montalbano
Trustee
Richard Montalbano is the vice president and project executive of the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network. In that role he is responsible for master planning Einstein's new 84-acre site in East Norriton. He previously served as the vice president for management services at Abington Memorial Hospital. Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the Committee for Economic Development for Abington Township and is a member of Citizens and Police Together (CAPT). Mr. Montalbano holds a B.S. in Physics from State University of New York and a M.S. in Health Care Administration from Union College.
J. Edmund Mullin

J. Edmund Mullin is a principal of Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell and Lupin. He sits on the Board of Trustees for the Gwynedd Mercy Academy, the Board of Directors for St. Mary’s Villa for Children and Families, and he is a member of the Muhlenberg House Restoration Committee and the Order of the Coif. He previously served as the president of the Montgomery Bar Association, and sat on the Board of Directors for Continental Bank and Gateway Employment Resources, Inc., and on the Board of Consultors for Villanova University School of Law. Mr. Mullin holds a B.A. and J.D. from Villanova University.
James W. Vlahos, Jr.
Trustee
James W. Vlahos, Jr. is the President of Vlahos Dunn Insurance, and he has 30 years of experience in insurance sales. He has served as a member of the Boyertown YMCA Chairman’s Roundtable and the Capital Campaign Board for the development of the New Hanover Branch of the Boyertown YMCA. He was instrumental in the organization and formulation of the Pottstown Metropolitan Regional Planning Commission for the purpose of preserving open space and managing growth in the region. Mr. Vlahos holds an A.G.S. from Montgomery County Community College and is a Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA). He was inducted into the College’s Alumni Hall of Fame in 2007.
