The Dental Hygiene Clinic at Montgomery County Community College will hold a free sealant program for children ages 6-14 on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Science Center room 211 at the Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell. The community outreach program is made possible through grant funding provided by the North Penn Community Health Foundation. Space is limited, and examinations are by appointment only on a first come, first serve basis. For information and appointments, call 215-641-6483.
A dental sealant is a clear, preventive coating placed on permanent back teeth in order to prevent decay. On Sealant Saturday, preventive services will be performed by licensed dental hygienists in consultation with licensed dentists. Auxiliary support services will be provided by the College’s Dental Hygiene students.
