Montgomery County Community College will present the first installment of the West Campus Speaker Series for the fall semester on Monday, Oct. 5 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the South Hall Community Room, 101 College Drive, Pottstown. The presentation, titled "Conversations with a Composer," will feature Dr. Stephen Grieco. The event is free and is open to the public.
In addition to serving as the Dean of Humanities at the College, Dr. Grieco is an accomplished musician and composer. His composition "M.A.R.S." was featured in an interactive installation for the NASA Space Center's Smithsonian exhibit "Music of Tomorrow." During the presentation, Dr. Grieco will speak about his process of composing music.
