Montgomery County Community College is pleased to announce that 100 percent of its 2009 Radiography graduates passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) National Certifying Examination. A total of 13 students graduated from the program in May.
The comprehensive exam covers the entire two-year Radiography curriculum. It is comprised of five sections, including radiation protection; equipment operation and quality control; radiographic procedures, patient care and education; and image production and evaluation. Students are eligible to take the examination following graduation.
