Board of Trustees Policy
That Montgomery County Community College recognizes the need for currency
of retired administrators and faculty in their teaching field.
Effective with the Spring 2003 semester, any retired administrator, retired
faculty or emeritus faculty will be allowed to apply the courses previously
taught in determining their individual teaching seniority, provided they have
taught within the past five years. Individuals who have not taught courses
within the past five years will receive no credit for courses previously taught
in determining teaching seniority and teaching preference.
