Montgomery County Community College offers a variety of degrees and certificates in numerous academic programs.
The College offers Associate in Arts (AA), Associate in Science (AS), and Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) degrees all designed primarily for student transfer to four-year institutions as well as the Associate in General Studies (AGS) and the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees designed primarily for students entering the workforce upon graduation.
Our certificates are also designed for students who wish to enter the workforce upon graduation and are often seen by students and employers as an opportunity to upgrade or gain additional skills.
The College offers an Honors program, the opportunity to study abroad, the chance to interact with scholars from around the world, and opportunities to get involved with student-led activities such as the Writers' Conference, a radio station, and a jazz club, to name a few. If students need help preparing for college-level work, developmental courses are available in English, ESL, mathematics, and reading/study skills.
Students are fortunate to study in attractive, state-of-the-art facilities at both Central and West Campuses. Our College boasts new buildings, such as the Advanced Technology Center/Observatory, and the Fine Arts Center. Current renovations to Parkhouse Hall will provide updated classroom and communal spaces for students. A well-trained, student-oriented faculty guide students through their course work.
Please explore our areas of study and other learning opportunities. We are sure you will find something that fulfills your academic interests.
