With the Certified Bookkeeper Certificate of Completion you will acquire the knowledge and expertise necessary for a bookkeeping job at a small to medium-sized company. In the program you will create financial statements using double-entry accounting and execute payroll cycles. Think of the Certified Bookkeeper Certificate of Completion program as both a career starter and stepping stone to further education, training and advancement in business. Upon completing the program, you will take an exam to receive the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers’ (AIPB) Certified Bookkeeper designation. You also will be prepared to sit for the American Payroll Association’s (APA) Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) exam. Should you want to continue your education, your credits can be applied toward an Associate degree in Accounting.
