Public Health

The College’s Public Health AS degree program gives students a solid foundation in public health and a clear pathway to transfer to a four-year institution to continue their studies with a focus on the roles of health educator and health administrator. By applying population perspectives, the program illuminates the social, environmental and behavioral determinants of health in preventing and controlling disease.

Features of the Public Health AS program include options for:

  • Core courses that let the student pursue interests, particularly in the values sector
  • Foundational Public Health courses that the student can select as personal interests or as a major
  • Winterim and summer courses that allow greater flexibility in course scheduling

  • The College offers Public Health courses at its Central Campus in Blue Bell, West Campus in Pottstown and online through its Virtual Campus.
