Accounting

Planning a career in accounting? You should have an aptitude for math and be able to analyze, compare and interpret facts and figures quickly. More than 1.3 million jobs are held in this field in the United States. Employment is expected to grow by 18 percent by 2008—faster than average for all occupations.

Montgomery County Community College has several credit and non-credit options for students.

Accounting Specialty Certificate is an in-depth 18-credit program for those who already have 30 approved college credits.
