Liberal Studies

Undecided about your future? Plan to obtain a bachelor’s degree? Liberal Studies may be the ideal major for you to pursue. This carefully designed 60-credit hour curriculum allows you to select from a variety of disciplines including the humanities, science, social science and electives, allowing you to tailor a program of study to fit your interests. Montgomery County Community College has transfer agreements with four-year colleges and universities for students in this program.

Credit

AA degree in Liberal Studies will allow you to transfer to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Non-Credit

We also offer non-credit classes in history, music and dance, world languages and writing through our Division of Workforce Development and Continuing Education.
