Nursing

Registered Nurses (RNs) treat patients, perform tests, provide advice and emotional support to patients and their families and help with follow-up care and rehabilitation. RNs constitute the largest health care occupation with 2.5 million jobs. Demand for nurses is expected to generate more that 500,000 new jobs over the next decade. Overall job opportunities are expected to be excellent.

Credit

AAS degree in Nursing prepares you for work as a registered nurse and provides you with the opportunity to transfer to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Non-Credit

The Division of Workforce Development and Continuing Education offers Nurse Refresher/Nurse Reactivation Programs.
