Office Administration

With the rapid growth in office technology, the role of the administrative assistant has evolved from performing clerical tasks to the management of information and communications. This occupation is expected to see an average rate of growth in the next decade, with the best opportunities reserved for applicants with extensive knowledge of office software applications.

Montgomery County Community College has three credit options for students.

Credit

AAS degree in Office Administration is a 60-credit degree program that will give you the skills to obtain an administrative support position.

Virtual Office Certificate of Completion

Office Administration Certificate is an abbreviated 30-credit program designed to give you employment skills. These credits can be transferred to the AAS degree program.

Office Administration Specialty Certificate.

Non-Credit

The IT Academy Microsoft Office Program is offered through our Division of Workforce Development and Continuing Education.

Online
