Elementary Arabic is an introduction to the Arabic language. Students will learn how to construct basic phrases, elementary communication, and an introduction to the script, and focus on pronunciation. Students will encounter elements of the culture of the Arabic-speaking world.
Elementary Arabic II is a continuation of Elementary Arabic I. Students will continue to study the basic language structures with emphasize on the usage of present, past and future verb tenses. The course will use a proficiency-oriented approach using the four skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing using the Arabic language.
