Greetings!
As the Dean, I want to thank you for visiting the home page of the Mathematics, Science, and Advanced Technology Division. We are a very dynamic and diverse Division, offering a full range of career track and transfer programs. The Division boasts a highly qualified faculty, many with real world corporate and industrial experience. Students frequently come back to tell us that their science, engineering, or math degree from Montgomery County Community College prepared them very well for their transfer institutions and for the workforce. Our graduates enter the workforce or transfer to institutions such as Temple, Rowan, Widener, Thomas Jefferson, and Cornell Universities. Our faculty members use state-of-the-art instructional technology in their classrooms, and we’ve recently added two new laboratories equipped with the latest technologies in the Advanced Technology Center. Programs and areas of study in the division include:
The Division is recognized nationally and boasts several National Science Foundation grants, including grants that have brought bioinformatics to the biology curriculum; scholarships for students who are science, math and engineering majors; and funding to allow students research opportunities at the College in partnership with a major local chemical company. Take a closer look at all the Division has to offer. On behalf of the faculty and staff of the Mathematics, Science, and Advanced Technology Division, welcome to Montgomery County Community College!
