Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

Dear Prospective Student,

The STEM Division offers nationally-recognized, competitive Transfer Programs, in additional to Career-Track and Certification Programs. Our students are provided with an affordable, high-caliber education that prepares them for success in whatever they aspire to – whether it’s transfer into one of our many partners institutions, or entry into the workforce with a competitive edge. Students completing our Transfer Programs graduate from local and regional colleges and universities including Temple, West Chester, Gywnedd-Mercy, and Chestnut Hill, as well as Rowan, Widener, Thomas Jefferson, Cornell, and the University of Pennsylvania. Individual courses are widely accepted at regional universities and beyond.

Our faculty is passionate about a student’s successes, within the courses they teach and beyond. We hold our students to the highest standards, enabling them to reach their greatest academic potential. Our facilities are state-of-the art, including cutting-edge laboratory facilities for all major disciplines and new laboratories in our recently erected Advanced Technology Center. In addition to the highly-credentialed, caring faculty and first-rate facilities, our Division’s administrative support staff offers an incredible level of caring and attention for students, ensuring that their needs are met, questions are answered, and concerns are handled in a timely and responsible manner.

Programs and areas of study in the division include:

The Division is recognized nationally and boasts several National Science Foundation grants, including grants that have brought bioinformatics to the biology curriculum; and scholarships for students who are science, math and engineering majors through the STEM program.
