Welcome to the Division of Social Sciences at Montgomery County Community College. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to providing our students with courses and programs of the very highest quality—an education which is equivalent to that available at the finest, publicly supported colleges and universities. Some of our students graduate and immediately begin careers in education, human services, and law enforcement—fields in which our Division offers strong career (AAS) programs. Others, majoring in those fields or in the social sciences (anthropology, history, geography, sociology, psychology, political science), transfer to four-year institutions to complete baccalaureate degrees.
