Guests and Visiting Students

Montgomery County Community College welcomes students from other institutions as well as students interested in taking courses for personal enrichment to attend as a guest student. Our courses are fully transferable and taught by our outstanding faculty. You can choose between online, hybrid, and traditional classroom classes.

Because we are a community college, our costs are low, making us a great choice if you are looking to take classes to transfer back to a home institution. It is also an economical way to “kick the tires” and explore what we have to offer.

If you are a student at another college or university, or you want to take some classes without intending to receive a degree or certificate from Montgomery County Community College, then you are a guest student. Use this online Guest/Visiting student registration form to get started!

Guest students are not eligible for financial aid; aid is only available to students enrolled in a degree or certificate program.

If you are interested in receiving a degree or certificate from Montgomery County Community College you should submit an Admissions Application.

Here are some tips for students here as a guest from another college or university:

  • Check with your college or university to find out about their requirements for transferring credit from MCCC.
  • Request a copy of your Montgomery County Community College transcript to be sent to your home college/university as soon as you receive your grade(s)
