Applying for financial aid is FREE!
If you plan to enroll at MCCC and need help paying for your classes, you can apply for Financial Aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (commonly known as the FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.gov.
MCCC’s Federal School Code is 004452
You will need an FSA User ID and Password to electronically sign your FAFSA. If you are a dependent student, one parent will also need one. You can apply for an FSA ID here: https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm
Priority deadlines: Fall semester – May 1st, Spring Semester – October 15th. You can apply after the priority deadline but you may miss out on some types of funding and may not have your financial aid processed in time to meet important final payment due dates).
If you have questions about filling out the FAFSA, check out the ‘7 easy steps to the FAFSA’ video below. You will also find helpful features such as online help and chat on the FAFSA website – www.fafsa.gov.
MCCC also hosts FAFSA Help Forums throughout the semester to assist students with their FAFSA.
You can also be considered for MCCC Foundation Scholarships by submitting your FAFSA, registering for the fall semester, and applying through our scholarship site (Academic Works) no later than May 15th.
