Registration for both Summer and Fall 2016 semesters is open for all new, transferring and guest students. Now that you have applied to the College, please select the correct link below for more information about the registration process specific to you. If you are a guest student, the guest student application will serve as both application and registration form.

We encourage students to complete a financial aid application, as soon as possible, as Please note that guest students are not eligible for financial aid at MCCC.

  • Send an official transcript from your prior institution(s) to the Testing Center or upload the documents via Testing Documents Upload.
  • To learn more about the transfer student process please visit the Transfer Admissions Checklist page.
  • Online learning can be a great learning opportunity provided you have the necessary skills, resources and attributes.

    • Determine if online learning is suitable for you by taking our optional  online Readiness Survey.
    • Check for placement testing exemptions and complete placement testing if necessary. 
    • Complete the Online Orientation
    • After completing the online orientation, email your Academic Advisor to make a phone or in-person academic advising appointment to get you ready for course registration.  Don’t know who your Academic Advisor is?  Check our advising list. You can also call 215-641-6577 to make this appointment. 

    Before you start classes at the Culinary Arts Institute of Montgomery County Community College you must complete the steps included in the CAI Student Checklist.

    Other New Students

     As an ESL (English as a Second Language) student you may need to complete placement tests. Please visit Placement Testing for exemptions and testing information. Please call 215-641-6577 to schedule an advising and registration appointment with Dilek Arig, Academic Advisor at Central Campus; or call 610-718-1906 at West campus. ESL students do not need to complete a New Student Registration session.
    Use the Guest/Visiting student registration form if you meet all of the following conditions:

    • You already have an Associate’s, Bachelor’s degree or higher, or
    • You are currently enrolled as a matriculated student at another college or university and,
    • You do not intend to enroll as a full-time student (12 or more credits/semester) and,
    • You have no intent of receiving a degree or certificate at Montgomery County Community College.

    Any person who has reached the age of 15 and is currently enrolled in high school may choose to be a part of our Early Admissions/Dual Enrollment program. Please visit and follow instructions for application and registration.

    Welcome Day

    All New Students and Parents are invited to attend New Student Welcome Day/Orientation. Please join us to tour your campus, meet other students, find out about financial aid and free resources to assist you in your first semester, learn about Mustang athletics, student clubs and organizations, and pick-up your FREE student planner! Welcome Day is for New Students registered for Spring, 2016.

      Culinary Arts Institute students are required to attend the Culinary Arts Institute Orientation at the CAI in Lansdale (1400 Forty Foot Road) and the New Student Welcome Day Orientation at either the Central or West Campus.

      Students who are new to The Culinary Institute should plan to attend Orientation. If you have taken classes at Montgomery County Community College previously, but are NEW to The Culinary Arts Institute, please attend as well. Important information regarding your culinary program will be presented. No prior sign-up is required. We look forward to seeing you there!
