Now that you have applied to the College, please select the correct link below for more information about the registration process specific to you. If you are a guest student, the guest student application will serve as both application and registration form.

 We encourage students to complete a financial aid application as soon as possible. Payment plans are available.

 Please note that guest students are not eligible for financial aid at MCCC.

 Review the registration calendar to confirm start and ends dates for each course offering. 

 

1. Complete placement testing, and/or provide test exemption documentation. You must also complete one of the below options:2. Complete the online orientation (Allow one hour to complete)3. Please call 215 – 641 - 6577 to make either an in-person or phone appointment with an Academic Advisor, to get you ready for course registration. Note: Step 1 and 2 must be completed first.

Transfer students may need placement testing. Please Reference this link to learn about test exemption.

  • Send an official transcript from your prior institution(s) to the Testing Center or upload the documents via Testing Documents Upload.
  • To learn more about the transfer student process please visit the Transfer Admissions Checklist page.
  • Online learning can be a great learning opportunity provided you have the necessary skills, resources and attributes.

    • Determine if online learning is suitable for you by taking our optional  online Readiness Survey.
    • Check for placement testing exemptions and complete placement testing if necessary. 
    • Complete the Online Orientation
    • After completing the online orientation, email your Academic Advisor to make a phone or in-person academic advising appointment to get you ready for course registration.  Don’t know who your Academic Advisor is?  Check our advising list. You can also call 215-641-6577 to make this appointment. 

    Before you start classes at the Culinary Arts Institute of Montgomery County Community College you must complete the steps included in the CAI Student Checklist.

    Other New Students

     As an ESL (English as a Second Language) student you may need to complete placement tests. Please visit Placement Testing for exemptions and testing information. Please call 215-641-6577 to schedule an advising and registration appointment with Dilek Arig, Academic Advisor at Central Campus; or call 610-718-1906 at West campus. ESL students do not need to complete a New Student Registration session.
    Use the Guest/Visiting student registration form if you meet all of the following conditions:

    • You already have an Associate’s, Bachelor’s degree or higher, or
    • You are currently enrolled as a matriculated student at another college or university and,
    • You do not intend to enroll as a full-time student (12 or more credits/semester) and,
    • You have no intent of receiving a degree or certificate at Montgomery County Community College.

    Any person who has reached the age of 15 and is currently enrolled in high school may choose to be a part of our Early Admissions/Dual Enrollment program.
