Request Transcripts

Transcript Information

A transcript is a comprehensive record of your academic progress, including coursework, grades and degrees earned. Online orders for transcripts are completed via the secure PARCHMENT website, MCCC's online transcript provider. PARCHMENT accepts credit cards only.

Transcript Fees and Options

Students can request transcripts in "paper" or "electronic" form for $5.00 per transcript.

Electronic Transcripts

An electronic transcript is a PDF copy of your transcript that is available online via email. You order the transcript as you would any other transcript; however, an email address is provided rather than a postal address. The recipient receives an email which explains how to access the transcript. Please note: electronic transcripts are only official in their electronic form and cannot be duplicated.

Orders "On Hold"

There are a few reasons that your transcript may be "On Hold." You may owe an obligation to the college, or you may require special permission from the Registrar for a specific reason. If your request is "On Hold," you should contact 215-641-6300 for more information. Until the issue is corrected, your transcript will not be released.

Processing Time

In most cases, transcripts will be processed within 72 business hours. NOTE: Processing time may vary during periods of high volume, i.e., prior to and following semesters, and during holiday periods. Overnight delivery requests will NOT be available during these times or on Fridays with the expectation of delivery on weekends.

On-Demand Transcripts

Students may visit either MCCC campus to obtain their official paper transcript during business hours and can purchase their transcripts with cash, credit card or check.

Including Additional Documents With Transcripts

Students should always contact their intended recipient for any specific instructions regarding submission of additional documents.

Options offered by MCCC

For in-person requests, students may present their documents with a completed request form at either campus. The additional document will be sealed in the envelope with the transcript.

For online Parchment orders, students may order a paper transcript to be delivered to themselves. Pending approval by their recipient, they may then place this UNOPENED envelope along with their additional document in a separate envelope and mail directly to their recipient.

Documents Needed to be Completed by MCCC and Sent With Transcripts

Students with additional documentation or forms requiring completion by Montgomery County Community College must follow a different process: download, complete and send this form with document requiring completion, to address or fax number listed on form.
