If you want to jump-start your life through higher education, there’s no better time than now to take that first step! Connect with us today by requesting more information or scheduling a visit to one of our campuses.
Step 1 Complete an Application.
Save yourself money by completing our free online application, or complete a mail-in application ($25 fee).
Step 2 Assess Your Skills.
There are many ways you can determine your college readiness and identify courses that are right for you. You may submit score reports (PSAT, SAT, PSSA, AP, etc.) or college transcripts for evaluation. If you do not have these items or your scores or grades are not high enough, you are required to take the College’s placement tests. The College offers you many ways to prepare for these tests and highly encourages you to do this. You can prepare both on and off campus and we will provide you with assistance to do so. To find out more about course placement, please see Testing and Placement.
Step 3 Finance Your Education.
Figuring out how to pay for college can be overwhelming, but don’t worry—we’re here to help! Our Financial Aid Office can tell you about available grants, scholarships, student loans and part-time employment options. The most important thing to do first is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form at www.fafsa.ed.gov (using our federal school code, 004452). To request financial aid forms, call the Financial Aid Office for your chosen campus.

You are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor and/or career counselor from our Student Success Center to discuss your academic interests and career/transfer goals. They can help tailor your schedule to meet those goals, process transfer credits and register you for courses. To schedule an appointment, call the Student Success Center at your chosen campus.

During orientation you can also get your picture taken for your Mustang Card—a student identification card that also serves as your library card and financial aid ID—as well as purchase your textbooks and supplies, and complete your free car registration and parking sticker application.
