Legal residency for the purpose of in-county tuition is considered to be established upon completion of six months of continuous residence at the time of registration. Residency may be established in less than six months if positive action has been taken to establish residency in accordance with paragraph 35.29b of the Pennsylvania State Code on Commonwealth Residency.
Enrolled students who have changed their address must complete and submit the Name Change/Address Change/Residency Checklist Form. This form can be obtained from The Office of Admissions and Records, or by using a Mail-In form. Two documents of proof must be submitted with the form. Acceptable documents for verifying county residency include: lease papers or documents of sale for a permanent independent residence.
