College Credits for High School

ARTICULATION AGREEMENTS

Montgomery County Community College holds Articulation Agreements with local high schools and technical centers that allows for the direct granting of college credit for the high school or technical school experience. These programs have been reviewed by the College faculty and deemed to be of sufficient rigor, content and length to be comparable to some college level courses.

To obtain credit, the student should speak with their high school or technical school counselor or principal to complete the appropriate request forms.

To receive credit under an Articulation Agreement, the student must complete the identified high school courses or technical school program, receive a grade of "B" or better in the course or program, have the approval of the technical school/high school faculty member, counselor or principal and matriculate at the College for a minimum of 3 credits.
