Scholarships - Outside

Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program

Eligibility Requirements
  • Be a current student at an accredited US community college or two-year institution with sophomore status OR a recent graduate (within the last five years)
  • Have a cumulative college GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Plan to transfer to a four-year college or university in Fall 2013
  • Be nominated by two-year institution
  • Have unmet financial need

The Jack Kent Cooke scholarship may be used at any four-year institution.



All Pennsylvania Academic Team

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a current student at Montgomery County Community College
  • Have a cumulative college GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Have at least 36 credit hours by the end of December and be on track to complete 48 credit hours by August 2013 (30 hours must be completed at a community college within the past five years)

Student is not required to be a member of Phi Theta Kappa in order to apply. All interested students should contact Christopher Coia, Director of Student Leadership and Involvement at ccoia@mc3.edu for application instructions and the application password.

The College’s nominees to the All USA Academic Team will be named to the All Pennsylvania Academic Team and will be awarded a scholarship that may be used at any one of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education institutions (www.passhe.edu).

May 1—PHEAA State Grant

May 1—FAFSA Completion for MCCC Foundation Scholarships

June 30—Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for prior academic year
