Book Advance Credit

  • Book Advance Credit is generated from awarded PELL, SEOG and ACG Grants, and approved Stafford Loans that exceed the cost of tuition and fees.
  • Registered credits must match your awarded financial aid.
  • Financial Aid must be awarded two (2) weeks prior to the start of semester.
  • Book Advance Credit will be available at the Barnes & Noble Campus Book Store only.
  • You must present photo ID and course registration to purchase books with your Book Advance Credit at the Barnes & Noble Campus Book Store.
  • Book Advance Credit is available up to $650 for Full time students, and up to $325 for Part time students per semester.
  • Book Advance Credit is available one (1) week prior to semester start, and the first two (2) weeks of class.
  • Book Advance Credit is available for Fall and Spring Semesters ONLY.

Deadlines

May 1—PHEAA State Grant

May 1—FAFSA Completion for MCCC Foundation Scholarships

June 30—Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for prior academic year
