  • Job Description

    Experienced High School or GED instructor with proven proficiency teaching high school level math, reading and writing skills. Develop, revise and evaluate curriculum to meet the multi-level educational needs of students. Approaches each individual subject using innovative teaching techniques, materials and on-line training modules geared toward increasing student proficiency in individual content areas. Establishes ongoing, interim testing criteria to identify and address individual student progress.

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s Degree in Education required. Minimum 3 years teaching experience in a high school or GED setting. Knowledge of current GED requirements including appropriate teaching materials and testing procedures. Ability to work well with culturally diverse populations. Basic computer competency with knowledge of on-line learning modules is preferred.

  • Instructors needed with experience in acute care, M.S. N. preferred.

  • Dental Coordinator
  • Responsible for coordinating programming for non-credit professional development dental programs, including: Introduction to Dental Assisting and Radiology Review for Dental Assistants. Works with credit faculty to enhance existing programs and identify new offerings at both campuses.

  • Spanish Coordinator
  • Key Responsibilities

    • Create and maintain the course schedule tracking, along with other implementation reports.
    • Orient and train instructors on the curriculum.
    • Schedule and confirm instructors for interviews, trainings, and classes.
    • Order and set up course materials; maintain course materials inventory tracking.
    • Schedule classrooms, coordinate meetings.
    • Trouble-shooting student issues, registering students into online courses, and coordinating the classroom portion of hybrid courses.
    • Give back-up support to Spanish Instructors which includes teaching.
    • Communicate both verbally and in writing with Con-ED Program staff to coordinate all aspects of on-site course delivery.
    • Create, type, and edit a broad range of correspondence, documents, and reports under general supervision.
    • Prepare requisition for supplies and materials; make purchases as required.
    • Track program budget and expenses.

    Requirements

    • Experience in coordinating and implementing educational and career programs in an educational setting.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, training, or related field.
    • Administrative support experience in an office environment.
    • Experience working cooperatively and effectively in a college setting.

  • Elementary Spanish
  • Job Description

    We are seeking Spanish language instructors for unique elementary school settings. Instructors will teach Spanish language and culture to children in second through sixth grades as an after school activity.

    Requirements

    • Fluent in Spanish
    • At least two years experience teaching Spanish to elementary and early childhood students in a school setting
    • Strong communication skills
    • At least a BA/BS, preferably in Spanish Language Education and/or elementary or early childhood education
    • History of collaborative relationships with parents and colleagues
    • Love children
    • Constructivist approach to education

    Primary Location: Varies

    Salary Information: Commensurate with experience
