Karen A. Stout Leading Women Symposium and Golf Experience

Our popular annual symposium and golf outing highlights women's leadership in the workplace and raises awareness of the College's many innovative programs for women. Attended by more than 150 business women from the region, the event is a stellar opportunity for networking, learning, fun and kinship.

In 2015, we raised over $40,000 to support women's scholarships. A special announcement was also made at the Brunch Symposium portion of the outing: In honor of her leadership and commitment, the Foundation Board of Directors unanimously and enthusiastically voted to change the name of the event from the “Leading Women Symposium & Golf Experience” to the “Karen A. Stout Leading Women Symposium and Golf Experience.”

The annual event schedule includes:

  • A morning brunch and symposium with keynote speaker
  • An 18-hole golf invitational in a team scramble/best ball format designed for those with some golf experience
  • A learner's program for beginners to learn the sport's basics from a professional and test their newfound skills in a team skill contest (golf equipment provided)
  • A networking and awards reception

Golfers of ALL skill levels and non-golfers alike are welcome! Come for just the brunch symposium and/or the awards reception or enjoy the entire day.
