A letter from President Pollock

Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

Supporting Houston Community College

September 1, 2017

Dear College colleagues:

We have all watched with great concern the terrible impact of Hurricane Harvey on the coastal communities in Texas. Our hearts go out to the people whose lives have been impacted by this disaster.

I am proud that our College community has been rallying to help the victims of the flooding. In response, I have arranged for our Foundation to act as a financial agent to distribute your charitable gifts, if you so choose. Donations given to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund at the Foundation will be donated to support Houston Community College for disaster relief for their employees and students.

Your checks can be made payable to the Montgomery County Community College Foundation and dropped off at East House, Central Campus or mailed to Montgomery County Community College Foundation, East House, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422. Please indicate on your check that the funds are designated for the “Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund”.

You can also donate online with your credit card and select the designation Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.

The Foundation will announce and recognize through an Everyone email the individuals who donate. Donors who give gifts of $250 or more will receive an acknowledgement for tax substantiation purposes.

Tony Davis has agreed to serve as a point person to answer questions, and you can also contact the Foundation Office at 215.641.6324. An update on details will follow later next week.
