LANNY SOMMESE
Internationally renowned Graphic Designer and educator Lanny Sommese was recently awarded the 2010 AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) Philadelphia Fellow Award. The fellow award recognizes mature designers who have made a significant contribution to raising the standards of excellence in practice and conduct within the design community. He has been a member of AIGA for 20 years and a faculty member at Pennsylvania State University since 1970, where he was responsible for the creation of the University’s Graphic Design program, and is currently head of the department.
