Join us for an evening of one-act plays by three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Our Town and master dramatist Thornton Wilder. Funny, touching, human and richly theatrical, The Queens of France and The Long Christmas Dinner see comedy in human folly and the eternal in the every day.

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, adapted by Jared Reed-Biehl

A returning holiday tradition, this heartwarming tale of redemption, faithfully adapted from Dickens’ story of the original Scrooge, will help welcome the season. The performance is a re-creation of the acting version that Dickens himself created, performed by Theatre Arts faculty member Jared Reed-Biehl.

On a Wednesday, in her Minneapolis apartment, Waverly Wilson prepares herself for a blind date with Andrew. This particular Wednesday happens to be September 12, 2001. Recent Tragic Events looks at uncertainty — both small and huge — and the need for life to go on, with laughter, tears, and hope. This production contains adult language and themes.
