Novel
“Bringing Fiction to Life” with Marc Schuster
Focusing on character, this workshop will provide writers with techniques for bringing their fiction to life. Specifically, the workshop will examine the ways in which personal flaws can lend depth to a character while endearing that character to the reader.
Poetry
“Poetry Writing: Finding Inspiration From Everyday Sources” with Debrah Morkun
This workshop will explore various methods to create moments of poetic inspiration. Some of these methods will include cut-up techniques, collaborative writing, and the use of source texts.
