Libraries

The Libraries of Montgomery County Community College offer a wide range of services and physical and online resources to support the research needs of our students, faculty, staff, and county residents. The Brendlinger Library, including the AV Library, is located in College Hall at the Central Campus in Blue Bell. The West Campus Library is located in South Hall 160 at the West Campus in Pottstown.

Access Online Resources

Students, Faculty and Staff—Access our online resources including journal articles, e-books, streaming video, research tutorials and more via MyMC3 from home or on campus. Need login and password to access site.

Community Members—Search our collections for available books, government documents, periodical titles and audiovisual items. Visit our libraries to borrow materials and to access to our online resources.

Facebook—Friend us on Facebook for the latest news, research tips and events from the college libraries.

Borrowing Materials

  • Students, faculty and staff may borrow materials with a current MC3 ID card.
  • County residents over the age of 18 may receive a library card with their current photo ID.
  • Montgomery County high school students may borrow materials for assignments with a letter from their school librarian.

Services

  • Reference librarians provide research assistance to students, faculty, staff, and county residents.
  • Research online with resources including articles, e-books and steaming video.
  • Borrowing materials from other libraries (interlibrary loan) is available to students, faculty and staff.
  • Material transfers between central and west campuses.
  • Students may check out laptop computers at the circulation desk.
  • Grant Resources—The Brendlinger Library is a cooperating collection of the Foundation Center providing all Montgomery County grant seekers information they need to seek sources of funding.
  • Government Documents—The Brendlinger Library is designated as a selective depository for U.S. government documents including books, periodicals, maps, and other publications of Congress and Federal agencies.

Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am-9:30 pm
Friday: 7:30 am-5 pm
Saturday: 10 am-4 pm
Sunday: 1-5 pm
No Sunday hours during the summer.
