Transferring to a four-year college or university is a major goal of many Montgomery County Community College students. Successful transfer requires careful selection and planning of courses taken to make sure the courses not only transfer easily but also meet requirements at the transfer school. Transfer resources that are available in the Student Success Center include Partner fact sheets/intent forms, transfer guides, course equivalencies, college directories, and catalogs.
Montgomery County Community College works extensively with other colleges and universities to develop articulation agreements and guides that will assist students in choosing a four-year college to continue their programs of study. We have partnership agreements with several area colleges.
In addition, students have opportunities to meet with representatives from four-year colleges and universities when they visit both campuses during the year for our Transfer Fairs and Partner Transfer Days. Transfer information is always subject to change, and students should periodically check with an advisor or counselor in the Student Success Center at either Central or West Campus for updated information.
