Children and Teens

Montgomery County Community College is committed to providing educational opportunities for youth. We encourage families to explore and experience what we have to offer.

Enrichment classes for youth and teens are offered year-round at each campus. Children’s programs include classes in acting, sewing, music, dance and study skills. Of particular interest to teens, we offer Driver’s Education classes, PSAT/SAT prep classes, and an Entrepreneurial Camp as part of our summer camp program.

We also offer a special category of classes designed for parents or parents with their children. These include classes in parenting skills, homework, college sports, and driver’s education for parents.

We invite you to browse through our Live to Learn searchable pdf to discover the wide range of classes for children and teens that we offer. We hope to see you on-campus, off-campus, or online.

Nursing

The decision to attend Montgomery County Community College was primarily based on its reputable nursing degree program, which has a very high success rate of nursing students passing the nursing board examination. However, I did not always know I wanted to be a nurse.
