Credits: 1.00

Students are introduced to the basic building blocks of storytelling and journalism. They gain a foundation level understanding of mass media by writing, producing and distributing aural and visual packages for digital media that help them better understand and interpret messages in today's media saturated world. Projects developed are distributed over class, school and student-based digital media. This course, in combination with COM 100, meets General Education Core Goal 11: Civic Responsibility.
