ENG 256 Literature and Film

The purpose of this course is to acquaint the student with works of literature and their adaptations into films. Both forms will be discussed and studied as expressions of human experiences. The emphasis of the course will be on the literary work; typically, the film will be viewed and discussed as an adaptation of that work. This course meets General Education Core Goal 7:Aesthetic Sensibility and the Arts
